Climb Up to 50 Feet High!
How high you get is completely up to you. Keep it low, or climb to our highest elements 50 feet off the ground!
The more the merrier! As long as you are a BSA Northern Star Scout you can bring friends, siblings, and parents. They will be able to climb at the exclusive Scout-a-Palooza rate! (We do require a group minimum of 8 to receive Scout-a-Palooza pricing.)
Yes. Without a Scout-a-Palooza reservation, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you. Since this is an Exclusive 2-day only event, you must call by the 6th of October to secure a spot for your Troop. Space is limited!
The exact benefits will depend on your group. Kerfoot Aerial High Ropes Park provides an environment that fosters self-esteem, collaboration, social interaction, team-building, problem-solving, and camaraderie. Not only are Scouts allowed the opportunity to take a risk of doing something new and challenging, but also receive supportive feedback from their peers and leaders.
Belay: Static Bornack Smart Belay: Incorporates a “tweezle”—a device for locking and unlocking its clips on the cable, ensuring that guests clip only into wire lines they are supposed to use, and that they have at least one attachment locked on the belay cable at all times. Harness: EDELRID Radialis Comp, and Comp II Full Body Harness. (UIAA and EN Certified.) Helmets: Petzl Vertex and Petzl Panga. (UIAA and CE Certified.)

Our adventure park runs in all weather, unless extreme winds or lightning. Our course manager on duty will determine cancellations and guests may be notified at any time regarding a cancellation. If your Scout-A-Palooza experience is cancelled, we will offer you the opportunity to re-book, or receive a Kerfoot Adventure credit to use at a later time.
Cancellations made at least 5 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 5 days of a reservation will not be refunded, but you can reschedule, or receive a Kerfoot Adventure credit.
Scout Leaders Love Kerfoot Canopy Tour
Took my girl scout group here...Just off highway 169, so very convenient. I took my Girl Scout troop here - all 9th graders - and we had an amazing time zip lining. The views were spectacular, the guides were knowledgable and nice. The entire experience was great. Highly recommend.
Brought our boy scouts here...We brought a group of Boy Scouts and adults to the adventure park, and the whole process... was delightful due to the courteous, friendly, and competent staff. The guides were exceptional at encouraging and coaching everyone through the course.
We Believe in Scouts
Our passion for outdoor adventure comes from our grandmother and Minnesota northwoods pioneer: Justine Kerfoot. Justine founded the legendary Gunflint Lodge near the Canadian border and loved to tell guests, and her grandkids, stories of her pioneering adventures.
Her grandson, and the founder of Kerfoot Canopy Tour, Lee Kerfoot, is an Eagle Scout and has a desire to share his, and his grandmother’s love for the outdoors with scout groups and families around Minnesota.
